Right of withdrawal

This information is part of our Terms and Conditions. The right of withdrawal applies to consumers. For customers in Switzerland, where there is no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases, we give the same right voluntarily on the same terms.

Your right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, receive the goods. If you ordered several items in one order and they are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after the day you receive the last item.

For rental of equipment, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the rental contract was made.

How to withdraw

To withdraw, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement:

You can withdraw in any of these ways:

• Online withdrawal function: Click the "Withdraw from contract here" button, which is in the footer of every page of our webshops and is available at all times. Enter your first name, last name, email address and order number. If you only want to withdraw from some of the items, write which items in the comment field. Then click "Confirm withdrawal". We will automatically send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email.
• Email to info@tidal-wave.eu.
• Letter to the address above.

You may use the model withdrawal form below for an email or letter, but you do not have to. Any clear statement is enough.

You meet the deadline if you send your withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

Refund

If you withdraw, we refund all payments we have received from you for the withdrawn items, including the cost of the original delivery (except any extra cost if you chose a delivery method more expensive than the cheapest standard delivery we offer). We refund without undue delay and at the latest 14 days after the day we received your withdrawal.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have shown proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

We refund using the same payment method you used for the purchase, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not pay any fees for the refund.

Returning the goods

You must send the goods back or hand them over to us without undue delay and at the latest 14 days after the day you told us that you are withdrawing. You meet the deadline if you send the goods before the 14 days have expired.

Please include your order number. The return address is only for goods; please do not send letters there.

Return costs

You pay the direct cost of returning the goods.

If you return goods from Norway, Switzerland or the United Kingdom, please mark the parcel as a returned purchase ("returned goods") so that customs charges can be avoided. Customs charges caused by the return are yours to pay.

Condition of the goods and loss in value

You may handle the goods as you would in a shop, to check what they are, their characteristics and how they work. We never refuse a return because of the condition of the goods. However, you are responsible for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to check the goods, and we may deduct that loss in value from the refund.

Please note: parts that have been fitted to a vehicle or used, or whose packaging, seals or protective film have been removed in a way that prevents resale as new, will normally have lost value. Depending on the condition, the deduction can be up to the full price. If you are unsure whether a part fits your car, please contact us before fitting it.

Rental

If you withdraw from a rental contract after the rental period has started at your request, you pay a proportionate part of the rental price for the period until you told us that you were withdrawing. You must return the equipment as described in our Terms and Conditions.

Pre-orders

You can withdraw from a pre-order at any time before the item is shipped and during the 14-day period after you receive it. If you withdraw before the item is shipped, we refund everything you have paid for it within 14 days of your withdrawal.

Business customers

The right of withdrawal only applies to consumers. Purchases made as a business cannot be withdrawn unless we agree otherwise.
